General Information and Introduction

The ecotourism centre “Las Casas De La Cascada” (The Waterfall Houses) is located in an enchanting natural setting. It is designed for relaxation and intimate contact with an unspoilt environment for all five senses.

It is situated in Angulo, in the Mena Valley, in the north-east of the province of Burgos, next to the beautiful waterfall of Penaladros. This waterfall - 13 metres wide - has water all year long and forms a beautiful pool surrounded by trees which provide shelter for countless species of animals. Some that stand out are the otter, the mink, the dipper and the kingfisher.
